Clinical study about LifeMel

LifeMel Hospital Study published in prestigious Medical Oncology journal

LifeMel has been the subject of an important hospital study which examined the ability of LifeMel to help protect patients receiving cancer chemotherapy from a complication called neutropenia.

Neutropenia is a condition where some of the blood cells our bodies use to fight infections are reduced to very low levels. If the levels of the key blood cells become too low then patients can be prone to infection from bacteria and fungi and have little resource to fight them off.

The study at Ziv hospital in Israel (http://www.ziv.org.il) looked at whether LifeMel could help prevent this, and the results were published in the journal of Medical Oncology. Although the results were good, the existing study is preliminary and further studies are in progress and planned to confirm the results of the original study.
